Freebie Dresser Gets Fab

It was one of those rare finds - a FREE DRESSER on Craigslist!!!  I got lucky enough to be the first caller and hopped in my truck to get it.  It was gorgeous.  If an 80's flower print and gold/wooden combo pulls are gorgeous. Well, it had gorgeous potential anyway!

Here's the mirror in all it's glory.  Complete with a playboy bunny sticker.  Classy.

I wanted some big cool design off centered on the drawers, but was doubtful of my freehand abilities.  I found this on google images, printed it, and cut it out partly, but it was waaaaaay too small.  I looked at it to use as a guideline, and went with free handing.  Good thing for erasers.

First attempt at drawing it on. :)

We got rid of the hideous drawer pulls and, though Lindsay from BetterAfter once called these Bat wing handles (or something to that affect), they were the perfect fit and I'm all about using what I have on hand - I had these on hand from our bedroom set!  I spray painted them black, since bats are black - not gold!  Click HERE to see how our bedroom set transformed with the simple act of updating drawer pulls!)

And here folks, is the finished product.  You can purchase this for the low rate of $50 at my garage sale tomorrow!!!!  Be there or be square. If you live in Jackson county that is.....
