Coffee and Conversation Chairs

Before I begin.  Does that pillow need to go?  I actually have been waiting to do this post until I could make a pillow to go on the chair.  I made it, and now I think it looks terrible on the chair!  Haha!  Maybe someday I'll post on the pillow since I made it out of a bridesmaid dress and a pair of gauchos.  Anyways, on to what this post is about - CHAIRS!
Maybe you remember from way back when when I got these chairs.  (Click here for the original post).

And was lucky enough to find some thrifted cushions for CHEAP!

Well, I had asked ya'll what you thought about painting them and there was lots of mixed opinions!  So I left them... for awhile....  But decided to mix up some white chalk paint (Plaster of Paris dumped into the paint, yes it's THAT EASY.  No, I DON'T measure!) Here is what the looked like before I painted them:
And I also found something better to replace the tea cart, don't ya think?!  (I had just painted the thing white to match too!  Doht!  Anyone wanna buy a white tea cart?)  And guess what?  I lied.  I don't think I used chalk paint for these.  Because I used polyacrylic on the arms so they wouldn't scratch.... MAN am I getting Alzheimers?!  I honestly can't remember.
All done.  For now.  Well, maybe they still need some accent pillows....  the one I made really is a dark shade of blue, not black!  Ahhh well, ta ta for now!

  4. I think that whole area looks fabulous!! It screams beach house to me and makes me want a vacation!! however.....dun dun dun...I have to say although I love this pillow, I like the chairs better without it. I think the pillow would work on a solid color back ground instead. It takes away from the beachy vibe.

  13. The customer wants a dining experience that is worth the money he or she pays. This customer is not thinking about the chair and will not think about the chair unless there is a major problem with it.
