Life's too short for white ceilings

Want to make a statement?  Quit doing white ceilings.  And if you really want to make a statement, don't just paint them one color! (But that works too).
This design is thanks to Debra Lovell, aka my craft room designer and partner in crafty crime.  It sorta looks like the green stripe is on the wall, but no, it's on the ceiling.
The chandelier came from my favorite resale shop, the ginormous Jackson Resale Factory.  I think it was $12.    Of course it wasn't red when I picked it up....  but I just so happened to have some red spray paint for Debra to use on it.  That's one thing you should always have on hand, right along with a good pair of scissors.  Red spray paint!
Something went a little wrong with the measuring, no pointing fingers on that one, haha, so we had to put a piece of plywood over the hole.  Our solution?  Paintable wallpaper!  It wasn't as easy to put on as we thought it would be...  Thankfully my mother was visiting me.  It would not have happened if I had been by myself.  Oh no.
How about it?  Got an out-of-the-white-norm ceiling in your house?!!!

  3. I spray painted my chandelier too but it was oil rubbed bronze instead of red. I'll have to send you a picture. Great job once again! Whenever I want to be creative, I think, "what would Kammy do?"
