Rag Wreaths From Old Shirts

Pretty much the simplest wreath in wreath making history.
These are shirts that were mine that I either don't wear any more or have stains.  They're in a big pile in a basket in craft room because we just can't throw things with potential out. :)  "You know you're a Craft Blogger when..."  Also mixed in the pile is an the leftovers from a pillow case that my mom made into a skirt for me, and some fabric scraps from my living room curtains.

I cut my shirts in strips......
And then just tied the strips around my 25 cent thrifted wreath.
And wa-la!  A pretty wreath in no time!
Here's another one I made from an old curtain a friend gave me.  It's nice when everyone gives you their "junk" because they know you'll probably want to do something with it. Thanks to all you friends out there who contact me before heading to Goodwill with your donations!!!!

And another rag wreath that I posted about previously....  you can read about it HERE.

Were you inspired?  Wanna do it?  Pin it!!!

  3. Now I'm impressed and want to make some wreath projects too..even if I have to put them under my bed because I have no empty place to hang. A wreath on. This blog inspires me everyday! Oh and I noticed the pillow sham turned skirt ..turned into a wreath..fabulous!
