Aqua Porch Chairs

I've been busy redoing our porch.  It's been a TERRIBLE eye sore the last few years.  Totally made me cringe anytime someone would come to my front door.  Side door, people, side door!!!!  Can't you see the paint is peeled up and spiderwebs are thicker than my high school government teacher's chest hair?
I was lucky enough to be one of the first to spot these darling chairs on our local Facebook for sale group.  They were only $3 each!!!!  Can anyone guess where the originated from?  If you said Roxy's Cafe, you're wrong.  Applebee's would be the correct answer.
Since these were going on my porch, and some weird animal barfed on my newly upholstered porch rocking chair, I decided to give these the vinyl treatment and was thankful I had bought up all these tablecloths when they were on sale!
I painted them with an exterior paint, the same I used on my doors.

Oh, and yes, I painted my dark green boring shutters yellow.  The secret is out.  After the first five people reacted with "EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" when I told them my new shutter color, I decided to keep it a big fat secret until "the reveal".  But hey.  It had to be.  What do you think?  Wanna see the rest of the porch?  Or house for that matter?  Well it's not quite done. Just like my bedroom, which I promised you ions ago.  If only I could just finish one project at a time..........

  13. What a beautiful chair makeover--love that they were only $3, and the tablecloth idea is a great one for outdoor chairs on a patio--I like them. The yellow works perfectly with the blue, in my opinion. Take care--have a great weekend!
