Best of 2012: Will I Ever Top This Year For Projects?!

Well I'd have to say, I think that this is my favorite!
A rather drastic and incredible before and after,
(if I do say so myself),
for hardly any money and a totally new fresh look for
my front porch!
My Bathtub redo for $25.
 Never in my wildest dreams
did I ever imagine that stenciling a bathtub and painting the inside
with counterop paint would get so much attention.
The counter top paint has not held up super well to be honest. However, giving it another coat soon will still be a fraction of the cost of getting it professionally done.

The dresser drawer window boxes also seemed to be a favorite in 2012.
Could it have been the dramatic before and after of how this side entry looked?
I can't wait to have beautiful flowers in them this spring!

This Subway Secretary Desk
was a project I did for my mom.
One of my favorite desk makeovers ever!
And another Do-It-On-A-Dimer,
my bathroom vanity makeover cost a whoppin' $34!
Just not sure why I didn't do it sooner.
This spring, I took the plunge and painted ALL my cherry finish bedroom furniture white and distressed it.   But instead of wishing I could sell it, I  now walk into my room and sigh dreamily.
Painting My Curtains: Never Again!
And how I ruined my carpet in the process... but the exciting thing is - the new laminate flooring
is sitting in a stack against the wall right next to this bed!  So sometime in 2013,
you'll be seeing this picture minus the awful carpet!!
 Yippeeeee!!!
Though you would never know my craft room can actually look this clean if you saw it today, this room has been a dream come true!  Once our living room, it got 100% transformed for under $150!
I think I owe the popularity
 of this
ladder hanging on my wall
to Donna from Funky Junk Interiors for taking notice!
The Gutted Dresser.
This has been the perfect solution for our record player!
This is the kid's "entertainment center".

The Aqua Antique
And I'll end with one of my favorite rag wreaths.
If you follow Kammy's Korner, you know I have a slight obsession with making them. :)

And nobody knows what 2013 holds for Kammy's Korner - including me!
Except for a new floor in my bedroom that I won't have to be ashamed of....

Right now I'm experiencing a blogger's nightmare.
A missing camera with a card full of never shared projects!!
Ackkkk!!!!!!!!
I've offered my children a hefty reward, but they don't seem very intrested.
I need a camera I can "call" when it goes missing!!!

Let me hear from you!!
What was YOUR favorite post on Kammy's Korner from 2012???

  2. I love them all! I think the bathtub may be my favorite, but I also like the desk, especially the beautiful portrayal of how we are loved by Him. Thanks for the inspiration of your craft room. I'm trying to convert our home office into a shared space of office and craft room on very little moolah. Glad to know it can be done!

  4. Hi Kammy, love the paint job on the bathroom cabinets - I also commented there as well - could you send me more detail on how and why you used the plaster of paris in the paint? Thanks!

  5. These are great! Love the porch. For me it was great to see the bathroom because I have a mirror just like that and have pondered for years the choices for finishing the edges. I can't make a final decision. I love the white cabinets too, mine are oak and just may have to paint them. Lisa

  9. This is my first visit to your blog. You did some amazing things, but I have to say my favorite is the window boxes just because the idea of turning dresser drawers into window boxes is too cute.
