Little Table Topped With A Deer Head {DIY stencil}

I've had this little stool for so long I don't even remember where it came from!  It's been wearing white for a few years, but recently needed to get a fresh coat on top.

It was a little boring just as a plain little white stool, so I went digging through my stencils.  I had made this deer head one a few weeks ago and it seemed to be the perfect fit.  Especially this time of year in Michigan - you can't go wrong with a big-rack buck.

Click HERE to see how I easily make my own stencils.

I make sure to keep both because you can do "reverse" stenciling - see my sign at the bottom!

I used a dark gray chalk paint for the deer head and sealed it with decoupage - my new favorite for things like this!

Here's a way to use the part of the stencil you cut out.  Sorry, this is not rocket science... why am I even bothering to explain? :)

  1. I love this! Deer heads are so popular right now, but I never would've thought to add it to a small table like this...so fun!
