Trash 2 Treasure Tuesday Party!

DUDE.  It's been crazy since last Tuesday.  As some of you know, I gave my mom a big guilt trip convinced my mom to jump in the car and drive seven hours to help me give my bedroom a total makeover.  As a friend put it, she has two speeds.  Fast and faster.  In three days we painted my four poster bed, three dressers, the walls, and did lots of DIY home decor projects.    DO YOU KNOW HOW GIDDY I WAS WHEN  I SAW PINTEREST LIGHTING UP WITH MY AQUA ANTIQUE DRESSER?!!!!  If you missed it, check it out HERE.  Another fun post from this week was the shrug I dyed using old easter egg dye.

Unfortunately, there are hazards with having the two speeds, fast and faster.  Mom is what we call "accident prone".   It just wouldn't be a painting project with mom without her sailing off a ladder headfirst in to a paint can, or sliding down the steps and almost cracking her tailbone (pictured), or managing to get the world's biggest bruise from ramming ninety miles an hour into something sharp and immovable.  I feel bad for her.  Really I do.  But it's so hard not to laugh!!

Okay so hopefully lots of posts coming up will be all the new projects we got accomplished and will lead up to the grand master bedroom reveal!  Oh oh, I hate it when I put pressure on myself like that!  So who's ready for Trash 2 Treasure Tuesday?!!  I am, I am!!!!

Fairly new on the blog scene is Nouvelle Vie Furniture.  Jessica does GREAT furniture makeovers and apparently everyone loved this chair reupholstered with a curtain! Now that is my kind of girl right there!

I think I just featured something last month from Shari over at Turnstyle Vogue, but I can't help it.  I gotta do it again.  Because this is just too cool.  Is it not?!!!  Sa-weeeeet!
And seriously.  When I saw this, I thought WOW.  You can't get much prettier than that.  And coming from where it started?  WOW times two.  What a before and after, A Bit O' Whimsy!!!
