When I compiled last year's list, I didn't think I'd ever have another year quite like it. It sure seemed like we got a lot done. However, as I'm going through all the posts from this past year, I was surprised at what all happened once again! Most things were done totally on a whim.
Like "Hey! Since you have two more hours to hang out at my house, would you like to help me paint my piano? All the kids can help!"
Or, "Hey mom! The the hubby left on a business trip so what do you say we rip all the carpet out of Tori's room and have it done before he gets back - in two days?!"
It was hard picking my favorite projects, but I believe I've narrowed it down. Have fun looking and click on over to the links above each photo for lots more pictures and details!
My daughter's bedroom was the biggest hit of the year. We totally transformed this room without spending a penny. That includes making ruffle curtains from all sorts of different white fabrics I had on hand, painting and stenciling the floor with paint I mixed from leftovers from other projects, making a headboard from scrap wood a friend gave me... well you'll just have to go see it all for yourself!
I got brave and learned how to transfer images (the easy way!).
Finally pianted our garage so it actually matches the house. My talented mom painted a new scripture on the side.
(I know this isn't really a "project" but it was a favorite post so I'm including it!)
And last but not least, this scary cart that turned oh-so-cute got quite a bit of attention in blog land:
I hope you all enjoyed this little compilation and if so, follow along Kammy's Korner if you don't already. Your wonderful comments and support have kept me going for another year! Thank you, faithful readers, from the bottom of my heart!! May God bless you in this brand new year and if you don't know the peace and joy that comes from knowing Him, I pray you will soon!!
