I got an order for some plaques - YAY - that makes me h-a-p-p-y that someone liked my stuff enough to place an "order" - but the problem was she wanted the same one she bought a while back at Fabulous Darling cuz she gave to her brother. Oh dear. I rarely have two of the same. (You can see the original HERE). I looked high and low. In the barn, corn crib, basement, chicken house, under my kid's beds.... Nothing. I found the old piece of barn wood above and painted on that. Turned out AWESOME I thought. However, she needed that saying on a three foot long board. That one up yonder was just over two feet. |

Then my eyes fell on the leftover siding my dad was using on his cabin out back. I called him up to see if I could use his stash. He didn't answer. I took that as a yes, and started measuring. So did Miss Drama Queen. |

But boy did she run when I started up the power tools!! For some reason I couldn't get the circular saw to finish the job and had to finish with the jig saw that my hubby surprised me with one day - ain't he a GEM?!!! Now I need him to give me a lesson on how to work them properly. I just guess. Trial and error, Baby. |

Well, there's how one former siding turned plaque turned out.... |

And here tis the other one. Sorry for the crappy pic. Camera battery dying, bad lighting, and that's my story and I'm stickin' to it! |
