Latest Painted Signs from Kammy's Korner

Stenciled on old barn wood.  Not just for  over the crib in the nursery....  but also could be used in the master bedroom as a reminder to your manly man or wifey wife (if they need one!).
Ring Bearer Wedding Sign.  Ribbon is tacked on with thumb tacks and the center of the flower is attached with a thumb tack and a vintage clip on earring is hot glued on in the middle.  Can't wait to see a picture of the little ring bearer walking up the isle before the beautiful bride, announcing her arrival with this sign!!

The title of this hymn on a sign has been my most popular sign yet.  This time I did it on a lighter background and used black paint for the letters but OOPS.  Couldn't figure out why the letters WOULD. NOT. DRY.  I had used oil based.  Oh my, I loath oil based paint.  You can see where it smudged a tad around some of the letters.... URGH.
And what household with children doesn't need this sign?!!!  Will they actually follow the commandment though....  that is the question......

And last but not least, a sign I made for Mother's Day.  All these signs are for sale at Fabulous Darling in Brooklyn, MI. Stop in and see what other beautiful handmade goodies are available!  Such a fun store!

  1. I love your stuff. Decided I needed to stencil my bedroom curtains to draw the walls. drapes, and bedspread together. What kind of paint do you use on fabric to stencil with?

  3. 2 things:

    1. This blog inspired me to make my own stenciled sign today. Old fence wood with the simple word "love" on it.

    2. I remember you mentioning the store in Brooklyn called "Fabulous Darling" I work in Brooklyn and stopped in and bought one of your flowered headbands as a memento of all the blog posts I have read of yours.

    Just thought I'd share =)
