This was easier than it looks! I made a square cake for the bottom and covered it in blue marshmallow fondit frosting (Click HERE for the recipe I found on pinterest). It was my first time working with the stuff, and I wasn't very good with it, or maybe it wasn't very good with me, but hey I loved how I could cut the edges all off and eat the "scraps". Mmmmm. |
I had them get dressed in their pirate outfits that morning and took a photo of each birthday boy which I then printed and cut out and taped on toothpicks. |
I think the candles coming out of the lifesaver (mintsaver) portholes are my favorite thing. Just make sure you point them up a little. It melts the fondit frosting fast! |
And this Pirate Cake was by far probably the easiest birthday cake I've ever made. I think it's self explanatory. If you have questions, ask! :) |
And there are the little Birthday Boys!!! Life is nuts with those two, but I wouldn't have it any other way. |
