I'm not a real hot seamstress, as most of you know. But I wanted to recover an old throw pillow. Luckily, Rebecca (who is 12 YEARS OLD mind you) grabbed this gray fabric and literally whipped up a pillow cover for it in less than ten minutes. I used a yellow tablecloth to make the flower on the front. You can see the tutorial for how I did the rosette (originally on my duck/duct tape boots) HERE. I hot glued it on the pillow for an easy no-sew project. |

So there she is! Looks a tad more inviting now, don't ya think?? Or maybe you prefer the peeling, chippy look of before.... :) And yes, this brings us one post closer to the FULL porch reveal! |

Fantastic! I'm pea green with envy over that porch swing. I've always pictured swinging on a porch with an icy glass of lemonade....Likely my children would make it their mission to "bring down the porch swing!", but I can dream
