A very sweet lady (who also happens to be a blog stalker and neighbor-I'd-never-met) stopped in a few weeks ago and asks if I was interested in doing an open house. It took my blond self a while to understand just exactly what she meant. She was going to open up her home selling crafts, jewelry, chocolates, etc. at the same time I opened mine to sell whatever it is I create, as well as another neighbor lady who is a Thirty-One consultant. We met late one night at Burger King to discuss our plans and I set to work making invites. It was perfect timing for me as my parents were going to be around and my mom likes nothing better than "staging" things. She must have rearranged my house at least two hundred and forty eight times during the last three days. People stopped in and did a "walk through" while sipping hot cider and snacking on truffles and mini cheesecakes. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect and ended up gaining about five pounds eating most of the goodies myself! Thanks to my neighbor who apparently has lots more friends in the area than I do, I'd say it was a success. A couple of my wonderful friends showed up and were my little "elves" and helped me craft right up until opening minute on Friday. I am indebted! Here are just a few snapshots of how my house has looked for the last three days:
Kammy that's awesome. Your stuff is staged so cute, how fun!
