Vintage License Plate Crate

My last of the crates out of that old abandoned house...

I believe we found this license plate in our garage when we moved into our house ten years ago.  I've always thought vintage plates were cool and propped it on a shelf in my son's room.
I screwed it onto the crate at the top and then added hooks for keys and such.

The nail spike for rings was my mother's clever little idea. :)
Here's what happened with the other two:

  4. Great uses for old crates. Wish I still had all the crates I bought from Pier 1 in MT. Good job for hubs to make some out of pallets tho huh? Yup. We have some old MT and KY plates so this would be good use for them. Great project, glad you shared this to inspire us. Happy days
