Bathroom Update - Big Bang For A Buck

This little bathroom change was the easiest and quickest thing ever but makes all the difference in this bathroom!  It has always been lacking that special something.  A gorgeous tub that's been around the world and back (okay blog world), a pretty mirror, cute little Ikea chandy....but something missing. 

 I had this old shelf sitting in the basement and the other day I picked it up and started wandering around my house wondering where to put it.  Enter "A HA" moment.  Yup, exactly where it needs to be - over the clawfoot bathtub!!  Yeah?  Yeah.

 Let's have a peek of what this boring

 little bathroom used to look like.... eeeek!

This "crystal" chandelier is a forty dollar job from Ikea.

My uber tubular talented-with-printables friend Marie surprised me with this awesome little piece of work the other day.  Love it!!  She gave it to me framed and everything!
She's a peach.

Yay for summer - fresh flowers!!
 These dainty pink beauties are coralbells with variegated Hosta leaves.
 I used a stencil to put a little chalkboard paint on a mason jar for my Epsom salts.

Yup, pretty excited how just adding a little shelf did so much for this bathroom!  Woot!  :)
