Kammy's Apple Coleslaw

Kammy's Apple Coleslaw

*Ingredients:

1/2 cup whipped salad dressing
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbls vinegar
2 Tbls milk
1/2 tsp pepper and onion powder

4  peeled apples
3-4 cups shredded cabbage
2 raw carrots (optional)

Directions:
Stir together first 5 ingredients in medium to large size bowl.  Slice apples and chop them up with a food chopper.  (I use a Pampered Chef food chopper).  Chop cabbage and carrots fine and add all the raw ingredients to the mixture.  Stir until everything is well coated and serve!
*All ingredients are approximate and you can change the ratios however you like.  You can use less apples and more cabbage, or more carrots and less apples, etc.  If you like a more tangy taste, you can increase the vinegar.  This recipe was born when I was going to make coleslaw and realized after I was in the process that I hardly had any cabbage, but I had several apples to use up!  It's been a big hit and family gatherings.  Hope you like it!
Food chopper is a must-have in Kammy's kitchen!! :)
