Planter Chair

This project is pretty cut and dried, folks.  No need to explain much.  Which is good, cuz it's a Sunday afternoon, I'm tired, and haven't had my usual Sunday snooze because of this really talkative character named Danny Baker, errr I mean DANIEL Baker who is at my house shootin' the breeze while his parents are on their way home from hangin' on the sandy shores Myrtle Beach.
So my pal Kelly Sailor picked this here up at a garage sale for me once and has been anticipating it's redo for about five years now.  I finally hacked the caning part of the seat out since it was ripped up already and then dry brushed on some of my good ole' favorite aqua paint.  Then I pulled out several flower pots and found one that fit in perfectly and spray painted it yellow shmellow.  Boom shocka locka done.

Absolutely lovin' the Flexi Clip of the Month!!  Favorite aqua color - yup, yup!  I desperately need (not want of course!) a size large!!  I'm using a medium now, my mom stole my small size, and I'm needing a large.  I gots a lot of hair!

  2. Know what you mean about those Sunday naps. Gotta have 'em.
Lovin' that chair and the color. The door behind it is great too. I'll have to start scouting the thrift stores for old beat up chairs. Want to make a planter chair myself. Been seeing them a bit on the blogs lately.
