By the way, I did a quick Pinterest search since I know these are out there and one of the differences between mine and the ones I found is that most keep the hem on and just slice on the raw edge. I did that, and I didn't like how skimpy the scarf seemed, so for me, I like to cut off the hem and slice on each side. Make sure it's a t-shirt, otherwise it won't "pull" and curl the way it should.
And here's one in white:
Cute Kammy! I've done something similar with hubby's unused Hanes t-shirt and a necklace from my son's outgrown collared shirt. It's a great way to repurpose unused or possibly tossed items.
ReplyDeleteReally cute Kammy! Should be more stylish and try this!
ReplyDeleteLove this Kammy! Thank you for sharing. Pinning for sure! Blessings, Patti

ReplyDeleteLove the white one!!!
ReplyDeleteCute! I love fringe scarves!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute scarf idea! I love upcycle projects too. :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Because I have, what feels like NO neck, I'm cautious with how thick the fabric is or how close to my neck it's positioned. Yours looks awesome on you.
ReplyDeleteI'm literally chuckling because I'm catching up on all your posts, saw "Amanda" posted something about what SHE does, I'm like "cool, cool, thanks for sharing, YOU got my name, extra cool" JUST realized that's me, lol I had already commented months ago and since then had some issues w/google pics so there's no photo w/ the post.
ReplyDeleteAnyway- sorry about this nonsense
"BOTH" of us like your scarfs haha
