Signs From Broken TV Trays, Wood Scraps, And More....

Well Folks, I'm BACK from spring break - TEXAS STYLE!  We had a great time in Dallas/McKinney visiting our wonderful friends, Susan and Andrew.  I'm pretty sure their house still doesn't know what hit it.  And it wasn't the tornado that hit 30 miles away, either!  (Which was a little scary as ahhhh - Texans don't have basements!!!!  My boys and Susan spent a good hour hunkered in a closet while I ran from window to window looking for funnel clouds).  Maybe I'll share some pics of our week later.  We woke up this morning at 4:30 to catch our flight back to Chicago, where we hopped into our minivan and headed back home to Michigan.  Then I had to mow our lawn when we got back since I didn't get a chance before we left so I'm a little pooped.  Make that a LOT pooped.  Enjoy these mostly freebie made signs and HAPPY EASTER!!

When I bought the TV tray for 50 cent sat a garage sale, it functioned like it should.  But then it sat in my grill house all winter and when I pulled it out this spring, it was quite delapidated.  Pretty sure it should have spent the winter indoors!  Oops!  No bother, we'll just make it into a sign! :)
And the two in the upper left corner got a face lift.  Never pass ugly plaques by at a garage sale! :)
These were samples from when we were trying to decide which laminate floor to order.  I saved them from the burn pile and made them into, what else - MORE SIGNS! :)
And some of this leftover siding turned into.........

  2. Kammy, those turned out great! You have inspired me as I have been tempted to give away our old TV trays. We never use them and this would be great!
    Happy Easter!
