{No Sew} The Shabby Pillow Twist

If you read the post about updating my mother's throw pillows
while I was at her house over Christmas, then this pillow might look familiar.
Today, I'll show you how you can easily make one too!

1. Start with a plain throw pillow. Cut several strips of fabric just a little longer  than the width of the pillow.
2.  Hot glue one end just barely over the edge of the back.
3.  Twist your strip, and hot glue it, using a very thin line of glue.  Secure it on the back side with a dab of glue.
4. If your ends look messy when you flip your pillow over like mine did, twist another long strip around the hem on the back of the pillow to cover them. Done!
(Embellish if you'd like).

Here it is, in it's new home on my mom's bright red couch,
paired with another embellished pillow. :)

    2. I've made similar flowers before and they are so easy. You just cut a bunch of circles out of your fabric of choice and fold them in half then half again and glue the centers together. Pretty easy ;)
