Desk-A-Thon {From the Archives}

I'm redoing a chair right now. 
 An old, rickety antique with lots of beautiful carvings - and the reason I've never shown you the finished master bedroom reveal - because of that unfinished chair!  Well, today was the day I decided to tackle it like Mean Joe Green tackles his opponents in a football game.  (For reals, I ain't never heard of Joe Green, but Josh Lizer gave me that name just now when I asked him on Facebook chat for the name of an awesome tackler and look at that mug.  You gotta believe him). 
  Anyways, I'm hoping to have that baby done tomorrow.  Probably would have been done today but I wasted a few too many moments sitting back and admiring my work scratching my head about what to do next in the upholstering process.  Or maybe that was my dry scalp bugging me... Until then, I'm digging out some of my favorite desk redo's from the past and sharing them in one big ole' desk post today.  Enjoy!

Whew!  I'd forgotten how many desks I've painted.  And I didn't even show them all! Well that would be because some just aren't all that exciting.  

Well after that Desk-A-Thon, you got a favorite??

    I love the shape and proportion of the second desk. The grey paint with white highlights really gives it a modern regency feel.
    They are all cute though.

    I love them all but the ones that jump out at me, are the 1st and 4th. Great work.

    I like #2 the best, but #10 is perfect for a little girl! Fun stuff Kams!! Mean Joe Green, you kill me!!

    They are all great but #5 & #8 speak to me - especially #8 as my dad has that same desk that I would love to get a hold of - hahahaha!!!!
