If you saw yesterday that my maniac mom and I ripped up the carpet in my little girl's bedroom and stenciled the floor, then you know we redid the whole room in two days! I got the headboard made this morning and it turned out spectacularly better than I was expecting!
I've never done such a thing.
But it was easy peasy.
Here's her little chair I quick did after supper tonight.
Just going to paint a sign for the wall yet and I should be able to shoot some photos for the reveal -
Yeah, Dawg!
Oh, and can I throw in, we never left the house?! Which means... I used 100% of what I had on hand and
DIDN'T SPEND A PENNY!!!!
On the WHOLE ROOM!!!!
(but I guess we should probably buy a threshold yet... :))
And now I present to you, Tori's chair:
I have absolutely no recollection of where I got this chair.
I'm sure the idea when I picked it up was to paint it, but I just never got around to it.
Each of my boys used it,
and now it's Tori's turn.
Two days.... you and Laura are going to put me to shame when it takes what I am sure to be at least a month to help my daughter do her room.

The peeks at the floor and the quilt are tantalizing.

ReplyDeleteHow adorable! I love the ABC detail. The floor underneath has me drooling too! I'd love it if you linked this to my new linky party, "What We've Accomplished Wednesdays." It is live right now.
