I've had this bulletin board for ages. Then I came to my senses and realized it was ugly and stashed it in my "someday I'll do something with it" pile. That day usually eventually comes, and it finally did for this guy. It is now not only functional, but fashionable!
I bought this chevron fabric at Wal Mart for $3.98 a yard. Then I was very excited to rip open one of my Christmas presents from my mom who knows me oh-so-well and find MORE!
I had to pull the wood frame apart so I could staple the fabric to the back, but when I went to put it back together I couldn't get this corner quite flush, no matter how much I beat on it with a hammer. Oh well, it doesn't feel like it'll fall apart or anything! So much better, don't ya think? With all the fabric designs out there, the possibilities really are endless.....

I LOVE how this turned out! I tried spray painting my cork board and it really didn't turn out. I'll have to try this instead. Thanks for the inspiration!
