The Shabby Harlequin Chair

I think this post speaks for itself so I'm going to use few words.
I'm one of those "super extrovert" people one day, and "somewhat introvert" the next day.
And since yesterday was one of those "extro" days, I don't feel like being wordy today! :)

Almost-black DIY chalk paint of course.  Tutorial HERE.

Light tan paint for the harlequin (diamond) pattern and finished it with a clear coat of.... Modge Podge!
Yes, it is my new favorite go-to sealer.

And as you can tell, I took some 120 grit sand paper to the edges and a few spots in it's med section.

My tuxedo kitty matches it purrfectly.
Too hard to make her stay, however.

  2. Did you strip the finish or sand the chair at all before you painted it?

    1. Nope! That's the wonderful thing about chalk paint. :)

  3. OH so cute! The chair and the kitty! Jane

  4. What a great transformation. I'm loving he geometrics!

  5. I am absolutely swooning over your chair. Bonus points for matching it to your cat.
