When my friend Mary Alice showed me this desk and asked if it was something I was interested in, I didn't even notice the scratches, the worn top, the chunk of drawer pull missing, the green spattered paint... I was madly in love. I'm pretty sure she didn't really believe me!! It's been sitting for a while, but I just hadn't had the right idea come to my head. It needed something special. Then I got an email from a mother (that I have yet to meet) who is redoing her daughter's bedrooms in purple and zebra. How fun! She needed a desk and some nightstands, and sent me pictures of their rooms to work from. She has yet to view this desk in person, and I'm a tad nervous it'll be a little rustic, but I am in love with the shape of this beauty!! |
