If you're a mama, do you let your children help whenever possible,
even though it can be more work than it's worth?
I can't say I always do, (Dude, I'm not boasting super-mom status here by any means!) but I do try to involve them when possible.
Oh they are having fun and learning at the same time, they will never forget these times...sooo sweet
ReplyDeleteBless them!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful helpers!

What a great way to spend time together AND teach them new skills AND let them experience the fun and satisfaction of being useful!
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures in todays post. Especially the one where you, with a totally oblivious look on your face, are holding a bawlin' kid on your hip, the cat is laying on top of the dresser and has just reached one paw over the edge where you have just painted, and there is a flimsy, lightweight looking container of paint just waiting to be knocked over the edge. I only wish this were a video, so I could see if it was the unhappy baby wanting your attention, or the cat wanting your attention that got to the container of paint first. :>D Seriously, I applaud you for having your kids close by and teaching them by example. By the way, I hope the first and last of these photos have been enlarged and have found a framed place of importance in your home. They are both priceless.
