I picked this rusty little table up at a yard sale for a couple bucks. It matches the white rusty metal table on my back patio perfectly. So before I whipped out my Rustoleum Bronze Hammered Spray paint for the big job, I thought I'd try it out on this little guy first.
After some grunting and pulling and "Hubby, help me", I got the glass popped out, scrubbed it down and grabbed my FAAAAAAAAAVORITE spray paint!!!!!!!!
I thought about doing something spectacular and creative to update the glass top also.... but we're going with "easy" here, remember? Can't get much easier than spray paint! Maybe someday. A good soapy scrub went a long way, actually!

When you say "soapy scrub" what is your recipe for that? Beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see how you popped the glass out as well. I'd love to do this with mine but am intimidated at the thought - I don't want to break the glass top.
