Trash 2 Treasure Tuesday Link Party & Features

Welcome to another week of Trash 2 Treasure!

If you are a blogger, this is where you can share your trash to treasure projects with the rest of us.  And if you are not a blogger, this is where you come to be inspired, get ideas, and just have fun looking at what other people's sweat can produce :)

Sorry, but not sorry that I missed hosting last week's party - we were having our own party on the beach in Mexico!

And enjoying my favorite street vendor foods like crepas:

Many, MANY people asked me if we were on the same beach where Dad's  notorious "ocean incident" occurred and yes we went back to the same beach, and yes he walked out to the spot without experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome but no, he did not go in the ocean.
If you haven't read the full story of what happened on our Mexico trip 2015, you can read it here:

A few neat things we found out this trip:
We talked to the man who ran the water taxi service.  He remembered my mom, and how they didn't want her in the ambulance but he persuaded them she had to be with Dad.  How that the two men in the fishing boat that picked up Dad in the ocean were his employees who were out fishing and were now known as local heroes. Mom had given him a copy of Dad's story a few days previous and he had shown it to everyone that had been part of the incident.  It was neat to go back and connect some of the dots!

Here's what I shared since the last time we parted in case you missed it

Orphans With Makeup made me fall in love with pink.  What a gorgeous dresser redo!

Now

Party up, Folks!

 Just TWO rules to follow!

1.  Your post must be a Trash 2 Treasure, but I'm not picky on the "trash" part!  Please non recipes, advice, etc.
If you took something and made it look better and it's NEW to Kammy's Korner - link it up, Baby! :)
FEEL FREE TO LINK TO YOUR TOP PROJECTS FOR THE YEAR POSTS!

2. Place the Party button found on the right sidebar somewhere on your blog - doesn't matter where.

Link up, Buttercup!

    1. Hey Kammy, am I blind or is the link button missing? Can't figure out where to link up. Also, FYI when I pressed the link to go read your Dad's story, it lead to a strange page that had a virus attached to it.

I wonder if you clicked on the infolink ad? Not good if it's got a virus attached - ack! And I see the link button - hope you find it!
