Bottles and Weeds - a bad combo if you take the "s" off of weeds, but a marvelous combo in a decorating sense! Best of all - it's a FREE way to beautiful a space!!! |
|
If you've been a long time follower, you might remember the original post about these beer bottle arrangements. I picked them up one afternoon on a walk down our country road. My mom and I found some swell weeds in the "back 40" and plopped them in. I decided it was time for an update and dug through the spray paint cans in my cupboard. |
|
Naturally, I went with my favorite color - BLUE. Oh I love a blue Christmas! :) |
|
Next, the weeds all got a good dose of white. Pretty sure I didn't buy either one of those paint cans new. Garage sales, I am sure. Which is always a gamble, because you don't know if the nozzle is clogged or not. I usually take my chances. |

SO MUCH BETTER! And looks much less like beer bottles sitting around on my shelf. (which well, was the case). Win, win! |
~~Don't forget to come back tonight when our Trash to Treasure Tuesday link party goes live!~~
love the improvement kam!

ReplyDeleteWow that looks gorgeous! Never would have thought of spray painting old bottles :)
ReplyDeleteReally cute! And I had to laugh when I saw the snow - I thought my spray painting days were over until spring, but maybe not!
