Girls-just-wanna-have-fun Bench

This here bench needed some drastic help.  The dudes over at the Jackson Resale Factory  gave me a gorgeous deal I couldn't pass up - even though it had heart cut outs!  Now, you know it was a bargain if I actually bought something with heart cut outs!!  I debated on how to cover them up, but when I decided to paint it girly with some purple paint I bought for a dollar at a garage sale, I decided they had my permission to stay.

I put big white polka dots on the seat/lid using a stencil I cut out myself.  Then just free handed some stripes on the front for a little whimsicalness using lime green to add a little interest...

and then using my finger tip, dipped it in paint and polka dotted the top edge.

I put some poly on the seat for a little protection.  Do you have a little girl that's into purple?  Cuz this bench is calling her name.  Didn't you just hear that?!
