| So I found this super sad rocking horse at a garage sale for fifty cents. Fifty cents!! I don't know WHERE the picture went of it before I took it's super scraggly, scary, mane off. I actually was wishing I had taken the time to find some gloves once I started cutting it off, it was that yucky. It was very similar to the one I found on another blog below so you get the picture: |

| I added Plaster of Paris to my white paint for a little DIY chalk paint action, gave it a few coats and then sanded it smooth. I had an old feedsack that I cut a strip from and tied around his neck for a fun little touch. His head was a little wobbly and I wasn't sure how to fix it. I hopped on him and rocked him so he was sturdy even if his head turned a little! Click HERE to see the brown and green one I painted last year. |
