Before. Such a dumb blond am I. The intention was navy blue with a big M on it for Michigan. But as I was mixing my paint... I forgot that green and yellow don't make blue. So I had green and the table turned to John Deere. Shut up. You've done dumber things.
No, I'm not that good. So I found a John Deere pic online, printed it, cut it out, and traced it onto the table.
Then carefully painted inside the lines, and again, and again...it needed lots of coats!
And there you have it. A John Deere table. Oh , and sorry Lauren, it's not just for the boys! :)

I'm a happy girl. Finally got an order in for some zebra flowers! ALSO, got camouflage flowers!!!! How cool is that? They should be a hit over in these here parts of the country! Our country girls wear camo, and it ain't gotta be pink camo, either! :)
I think these are my favorite clips to date. I debated about whether to keep them for my own little girl or put them up for sale. But, I figure I can always make more for her..... Can't wait until my craft room is DONE!!!! It's CLOSE! Pics to come hopefully sooner than later!!
These partially lined alligator clips are the BEST! They stay in slippery baby hair, you can easily clip them to a knitted hat or headband, clip them on a belt, scarf, or other accessory.... just love them! I don't actually have the patience to line them myself, however. I buy them pre-lined at my secret online source. It's a secret because I'm waiting on them to get back with me about advertising on Kammy's Korner! No news is probably not good news in this case!

This here bench needed some drastic help. The dudes over at the Jackson Resale Factory gave me a gorgeous deal I couldn't pass up - even though it had heart cut outs! Now, you know it was a bargain if I actually bought something with heart cut outs!! I debated on how to cover them up, but when I decided to paint it girly with some purple paint I bought for a dollar at a garage sale, I decided they had my permission to stay.
I put big white polka dots on the seat/lid using a stencil I cut out myself. Then just free handed some stripes on the front for a little whimsicalness using lime green to add a little interest...
and then using my finger tip, dipped it in paint and polka dotted the top edge.
I put some poly on the seat for a little protection. Do you have a little girl that's into purple? Cuz this bench is calling her name. Didn't you just hear that?!

You know you have a problem when you buy something just because it's too good a deal to pass up, even though you have no idea what you're going to do with , or necessarily even want it! Such is the case with my friend Marie (thought I was talkin' bout myself, didn't you?). And why I ended up with her still new-with-tags star. It's good to have friends with this problem. I've always wanted a star. Not particularly this color however. So out came the white paint and some sand paper.
After taking quite a few layers of white paint, I sanded the edges to give it a slightly aged and distressed look. Bah, you can't even tell, can you!
It was exactly the thing for over my piano. It would also be exactly the thing for on my barn! Hopefully Marie will find another one on clearance and not be able to resist the urge to buy and I'll inherit another one. haha.
By the way, been toying with the idea of painting my piano for a long time now, and finally decided not too. HOWEVER, the bench needs something done. I get a sliver in my booty every time I sit to play! Would it look ridiculous to have a white piano bench? Please give me your opinions!

Before. Picked up for a couple bucks at a yard sale. I've been just itching to paint something a real pale, buttery yellow. Mmmmmm butter. That's why my I titled this a Delicious Little End Table!
What is more annoying than a stripped out screw?!! I couldn't get the drawer pull of so I had to paint around it with a tiny little brush! Then since i couldn't spray paint the handle silver, I had to just as carefully paint silver on it with a small artistic brush.
Me and my fine motor skills managed, and I'm proud I didn't have to call the hubby over to help. Weird, with his big hands and my little ones, you'd think I'd be the one good at fine motor. Nope, other way around. He's the one you get to thread a needle, get a knot out, etc.
I finished it off with a harlequin stencil on the top using a super light gray. And I didn't fill the shapes in totally, so it looks a little aged. Now I need to go get a warm muffin and slather on some butter. Mmmmmm.
